I am a Calgary-based artist and photography. I travel a fair bit and take a TON of pictures along the way to and at my destinations to inspire my painting and drawing. My travels are largely in and around Canada, capturing may of the geologically interesting areas of the country, in a variety of seasons, lighting, and weather conditions. This includes the West Coast and Vancouver Island, the Rocky Mountains, the vast Prairies, Canadian Shidld, and the Maritimes. I also have travelled to Europe, Mexico, and the United States.
This is my website for showing (and selling) my art. Over the years, I have done painting (mostly oil) and pastels, and for the past 20-odd years have focussed on digital photography of the world around me, and on my travels.
While initially NOT an e-commerce website, I have taken over 300,000 digital images of a variety of subjects on the ground, underwater, in the air, and from tall buiuldings, hills, and mountains. Several of my images have been published in books and text books, and used on a numbeer of websites designed b y my company, TransCanada FoundLocally Inc.
